Back in the early 90’s music cassette tapes were the most popular format in the music industry. Cassettes with booklets, double cassettes or simple single cassettes were the media format everyone owned. Fast forward 20 years and cassette tapes are coming back to us with more cassette packaging options than ever!

Each cassette duplication order includes 4 things :

Case/insert

You can choose between shell cases, O-Cards or Maltese Cross cases. The shell case also includes a printed J card (insert) that goes inside the plastic case. O-Card and Maltese Cross cases don’t need any inserts as the artwork gets printed straight on them. Scroll down to read more about each of the cassette duplication cases we offer.

Tape

Cassette tapes come in 2 lengths – 45 and 90 minute so there’s an option for EP and album release.

Sticker on the tape

Each cassette duplication also comes with a full colour printed cassette sticker that goes on both sides of the tape. There’s no limitation of what you can print and this really can turn an ordinary cassette into a funky thing.

Duplication

As always, all of our products come with duplication service included in the price so you don’t have to pay anything extra for your tape manufacturing. We process cassette tape duplication using Tascam recorders operating in real time so there’s no possibility of losing any quality during duplication.

Classic Shell Case

This example here contains a classic shell case with J card (printed artwork folding in the case like a letter J), cassette tape and the printed sticker that goes on the tape. This is the most basic version of our cassette duplication service.

Eco-friendly O - Card

This one here is an example of O – Card packaging. The O-Card replaces the plastic case and the cassette slips in and stays within the card. As a standard this option also includes tape and full colour tape stickers.

Eco-friendly - Maltese Cross case

This super cool eco-friendly case option can potentially have up to 10 panels of artwork on one music cassette production! Easy to open and close this variant of cassette duplication can really impress your fans

Cassette duplication extras

There are few extras you can add to your cassette production like J card booklet, shrink wrapping or outside O Card that covers a plastic shell. If you’re interested in any of the extras just send us a message and we’ll take it from there.

Audio

We recommend supplying 1 .wav file per side. This way you can be sure the tapes will get produced exactly the way you want. Cassette duplication recommended sample and bit rate is 44/16.

The super cool thing about cassette tapes is that they are really affordable and really funky looking and stocked between your CDs and Vinyl can really bring a lot of attention (and money) to your merch table or online shop.

Delivery

We use UPS and DHL as our couriers who deliver our products usually within 1-2 working days after the pick up.

We deliver all over the UK as well as to Europe. Place your order and pick your delivery country.

If you wish you can collect your audio cassettes in person from our Glasgow office.
