The album’s cover artwork was created by Fvrris, a 20-year-old artist from St. Louis. The inspiration for the design came from Bryan Lee O’Malley’s work on “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World,” which is also referenced in the album’s title.
The cover features an anime-style depiction of Lil Uzi Vert, with his love interest, Brittany Byrd, lying on top of his head in the style of Ramona Flowers from the Scott Pilgrim series.
The background of the artwork is filled with a crowd of people who seem to be envious of Uzi’s success, potentially referencing the “haters” he has faced throughout his career. The basketball being spun on someone’s finger is a nod to Brittany’s past as a basketball player, as revealed in an interview with Nardwuar.
Two cameras flash at Uzi, representing the newfound fame he has garnered. The bass guitar in the foreground has “Rage” engraved on it, referencing Uzi’s previous project, “Luv Is Rage.” The use of a vibrant, psychedelic background reflects the cloud rap genre that Uzi explores in the album.
